Adam's Detail: Polishing C5's rmnc3r's 2SS/RS
Had a good time with Richard today polishing up his SS.. We used all Adam's gear:
Wash: Adam's Shampoo Adam's Green Wheel Cleaner Adam's All Purpose Cleaner Adam's Boars Hair Brush Adam's Lug Nut Brush Adam's Fender Brush Adam's Jumbo Wash Mitt Clay: Adam's Detail Spray Adam's Clay Bar Polish: Adam's Severe Swirl Remover Adam's Fine Machine Polish LSP's: Adam's Brilliant Glaze Adam's Americana Trim/Tires/Engine: Adam's Super VRT Adam's In & Out Spray Vinyl Stripes: Adam's Clear Polish Microfiber: Adam's Double Soft Microfiber Adam's Great White Drying Towel Adam's True Blue Microfiber (discontinued) And a few Sapporo's assisted with the detail.. It was kind a crummy day in so cal to detail, but alas the show must go on; here's our subject on arrival: Went straight to wash, as it was looking like rain: It started to rain, so we didn't get any more wash shots.. Here's Richard using the leaf blower drying the car: As my Yellow beauty sat aside and got wet We taped up the trim in preparation of the polishing process: Time for initial paint inspection under the brinkman swirl finder: On to the polishing, after trying a test are with Swirl and Haze Remover, I decided the paint was in need of new Severe Swirl Remover. We used a green pad + SSR, followed by a white pad + Fine Machine Polish: The new SSR followed by FMP produced a fantastic result: Time for a nice coat of Brilliant Glaze: We dressed up the engine with some Super VRT and In & Out Spray: For anyone who has any doubt their matte stripes and Adam's clear polish - here's some results for ya'll: And here's Richard checking out the Finished product: You haven't done a Adam's detail unless you took a "Dylan Style" shot: Richard went home to the family: I went to take a look a my baby and this is what I found from the rain: Needless to say, I started all over again: Hope ya'll enjoyed our fun saturday!

Ryan, you just wanted to show off that new Severe Swirl Remover, didn't ya?
At first, it didn't look like that car needed any polishing, but with the light you could see why it was done. It came out looking freakin awesome!!!

Actually I wasn't getting the results I wanted from the SHR, so I upped the ante. I was really impressed how well the SSR finishes and doesn't require a 3 step polish. SSR and FMP combo was fantastic.

So if I understand correctly, when using the SSR, you don't need to follow it up with SHR and FMP? You can just go directly to FMP from SSR?

Looks like the SS emblems are upside down. The larger gap between the SS's is supposed to be on top.
Car looks great though and the Adams stuff is killer.

I did that with the flex, and the pc.. The SSR is comparable to menzerna SIP, but the SSR has a longer working time, and finishes down nicer as long as you get the product to flash.

The car does look amazing but, the SS logo's would drive me insane, they are definately upside down.
