imagine driving on the highway and all the pebbles that get flung at you when behind a semi or another vehicle..ONE of those will cause a scratch or a nick etc on the car...might as well not drive it if your worried about the inevitable

Id have to agree tht stuff is going to happen, even a simple drive down the street can result in some kind of damage. Paying a shop to repair something perfectly and them agreeing and not delivering on their promise and still taking your money now thts diffrent.

If you are paying for it to be perfect...then it should be perfect.

I think you are justifiable in your feelings. I went through a similar experience with a "State Farm Recommended" as well as highly recommended from friends body shop and they sucked. I am still not real pleased with the results and I quit taking it in after four times of it being wrong, the owner telling me my color car was ugly, and him betting me that in 5 years I wouldn't still have my car because I'm "the kind of guy who moves onto the next newest thing every couple of years" (Which my last car I traded in had 170,000 miles). Just because the shop may not be able to fix something they promised as easily as they promised doesn't mean you should have to suffer with their poor quality of work.

To bad you didn't look into a paint less dent repair company like Dent Doctor. Most of those types of companies can get the ding out and paint Match if the paint is chipped.
Had some taken out on my vert and my wife's coupe and can not even tell they were there.
About $100.00 for each car repair.

I agree with what others have said... you can be too particular about your car. In the end, need to remember that it is just a car and it is meant to be driven. When it leaves your garage, damage from pebbles, doors, sand, etc, are bound to happen. I probably have a little bit of a different perspective though because every fun car I have owned has been a daily driver, including the Camaro.

That said...if I paid someone for perfect and it isn't what I got, I would be pissed. I would have gone with paintless dent repair as well, the ones that I have seen, they usually do an awesome job and it is relatively cheap. My dad had 6 dings in one panel on his 2 month old accord (looks like someone hit it good with a shopping cart) and for less than $125 you couldn't tell anything happened.

Are you effing kidding me??? There's a guy like that in this world?
Don't get me wrong I appreciate my cars and I work hard for them....and the mods, but I also appreciate other cars as well.

I looked at both pictures for a good minute and couldn't find the dent.
