Has anyone from the GTA upgraded their audio system at all? Whether you just changed the amp or went completely aftermarket and where did you go/ how much did it cost?

I can't take the distortion anymore it's driving me insane but I would like to go to a guy that has worked on camaros before instead of a random person at best buy.

I know there's a sub forum for audio but I figured this would be fitting as I imagine majority of c5 owners look at this sub forum.

I added a 10" JL Audio W3 with a Rockford 500 watt rms amp to my stock BA System in a Atrend Enclosure for it, sounded great and never got distorted after the install, wasnt hard to do either, you can tap the speaker wires on the factory amp and use a decent line out converter and the battery/ground is all in the trunk cheap and easy way to add bass to the car, Theres a couple companies that make a harness for upgrading your stock amp if you want to go all out and do everything. Think there is also a DIY around about it, PM me if you need any advise I started out in the Car Audio world.

My audio upgrade consisted of supercharger, headers, and a cam.
It sounds best when the windows are down.
Just something to consider???

Oh yeah it would sound sweet if I had a ls3 instead of a l99! So unfortunately I have to go with music lol.

I can get you equipment and install it for you too, ill PM you now. Luckily I happen to be a certified MECP installer with 10+ years experience in Car Audio.
