When I got back at started for laval around 1:30 I pushed the car again and it did it again so I turned around and went straight back. This time all the error codes where there. There where nine codes from stabilitrac to steering wheel angle sensor and even misfiring on cylinder 4 and eight. So the dealer put $50 of gas in my take and I drove around with the technician in the passengers seat holding a laptop plugged to the car. What we found out was that under hard acceleration sometimes when the engine torque it can pinch the wiring harness and cause the error messages. GM knows this there's also PIP# 4863 but doesn't tell any one. GM
Told the dealer today to clear the error codes and reposition the harness a little that should fix the problem. Only if it happpens again after they re adjust the harness that they will replace it. I told my dealer bullshit and my friend told me wait a couple of days and call us back even if the problem doesn't come back and they will just replace it.
That blows !!! You'll have to show us where it pinches, so the rest of us could avoid this problem... Sorry you couldn't make it today !!

No problem I was in the garage all the time they did the work. There's two spot one in the left hand corner in front of the engine and the around the back left hand corner near the heater hoses you have to take the engine cover off to get to that one. Just loosen the pinch clamp that holds the harness in place and give it a little more play so when the engine torques an move like it wants to spin there's More play and the harness doesn't get streched in front and pinched in the back near the fire wall anyways I'll show you guys on Friday. Have a good week.

We already have a supper engagement on Sunday. We can do something by leaving early, grab lunch over there and then head home

When I got my car in some weeks ago they told me that the TSB would'nt fix that situation. They gave the complete TSB papers that I did'nt have time to read but the service manager told me that when starting the car it goes to Radio, than it looks for some other attachents and when it is found it connects too it (Ipod). It's the same thing that if the Pod would be removed every time the car is shut down and that it would be reconnected manually after starting the engine while the radion is connected.... Not sure of that answer yet but there is some logic too it.

What about Camarorick, I beleived he did get the PDIM changed on his baby (the car that is)?

STOP WHINING! lol

I have the db-dd as well.
This is what i have noticed with testing with many devices.

IPOD/iphone (all apple products) - as soon as you connect the device (or if it was already connected when you
started the car), the radio will tune into the usb automatically.

USB - same as apple products

Android (phone) with locked homescreen - When you connect the device, nothing changes. This is because this device requires you to unlock it, in order for it to register its usb connection. As soon as you unlock the home screen, it will jump to usb.

So basically, this confirms that as soon as the usb device registers itself onto the radio, the radio automatically tunes onto the usb device. is this normal? im not sure. I like it this way, so i havent ever tried to see if i can get it to behave differently.

Suggestion: rick, if you dont have a password to unlock your iphone, try n put one. See it this helps. BUT!!!! if it works like my phone, you will have to unlock the phone with your password, everytime you want it to play your music. If your running straight on a USB key.... well.
