The door handle is no longer attached to my Subaru. This was the last straw after the brakes failed yesterday.

It would be great if I could get my hands on an old GM car that's had better days, but there's not much that can be worse than a car without a driver's door handle, brakes, or its original engine but has plenty of dents, stains, and window cracks.

Ideally, I'd like whatever beater I pick up to be from a Camaro5 member and to be between Kansas City and Topeka. I'd also like to be sure that it will last at least until December in good working order. Cosmetics do not matter as long as it can endure being driven daily for at least 7 months.

Keep it honest. Don't sell me something that you don't think will last 7 months.

I'll revise my request. I am seeking a used Camaro for under $3,000. I can find that much money in a short time. I will gladly accept a car with under 130,000 miles. It can be a V6 or a V8. An automatic is preferred. If you wouldn't drive it for fear of safety or condition, then please don't sell it to me.

I now have made contact with 2 local Camaro owners with intention to purchase. I still have to secure the funds tomorrow, but I will be making my trip on Sunday for final purchase. It might not be in perfect condition, but I will have my first car in my name with the help of the bank that best serves me.

If you have any additional Camaros for my consideration this weekend, please contact me on AIM. My handle is Blur018. I will consider honest Camaro5 offers very seriously. I will be headed to any sale with a friend and mechanic in my car for on-site inspection.
