Track set up

Going with 315 Mich Cup 2s all around.

For those who have run them, what alignment did you use for them.

In the past my alignment was halfway between the recommended road and track set up from Chevy. i do 2-3 track days a year and about 3000km on the road a year

My concern with the cup 2s is the square sidewalls compared to the Trefeos and Proxis I run in the past

I've been watching this thread just to see what kind of info would show up. How did the Toyos work out? I was contemplating getting a set of 888s for my extra track wheels "just in case". I've got the MP 4S setup right now and it's a great street tire but if I accidentally take the car to the track one day (LOL) I may go with something more track oriented. Maybe try posting in both the Road course Auto X sections of Camaro 5 AND Camaro 6 to get better feedback.

I run the GM recommendation. I run Goodyears 3R tires. Next for me is to go with Justice Pete's alignment specs and would like to try out some slicks. Like Hoosier A7. I run opposite of you though. I run specifically on track and only on street once in awhile. I think they say the GM specs will eat tires on street.

Toyo were great on the track but at 40 mph and above the tires were extremely loud for daily Driving.... on the track not an issue but driving down the highway it got annoying
