This is against Racer Girl! I got her off the line, but she smoked me at the end! I wasn't running my nitrous this trip. To our surprise we were running a Pro Tree which most of us do not have experience with. This was the best light I cut all weekend at a .279; I ended up running a 15.145 and she ran a 12.777. DA was around 2,700 for this trip down the track.

Yeah, not a fan at all of that pro tree especially with so many novices trying out the sport. Maybe for unlimited & modified classes in which most folks are experienced racers but not so much in the rest.

Just a couple things to note. Your tree times did not mean anything until you we were into eliminations and by that time folks should have been used to it.

ET was used to set the ladder during qualification runs and the pro tree greatly reduced red lights which meant more people qualified to race eliminations.
Some only had time for one qual run as they do autoX as well and this ensured more qualified.

We can definitely chat about it more before next year and make adjustments as needed. That's what these threads are for.

As a complete newbie the pro tree was a bit annoying at first but as an I4 racer on street tires I got the hang of it and I agree with you mlee it caused less red lights I just learned get staged first if I want that few moments to build boost. Not that it did any good the conditions sucked tempwise and it was like driving thru molasses the first 60ft. I had an awesome time I think they gave AutoX people more then enough time to get over there on the announcements I had time to go from the far grandstands to the bathroom to the car show parked way back to the staging lanes and still waited through 3 or 4 announcements. I think maybe more tallying on who's running what class me and the only other I4 driver sat in staging waiting for him to end announcements for us for 10mins each time up until the finals. All in all you guys did an excellent job and the entire 603 Camaro & New England Camaros crew really appreciated it.
