Tonight! 2SS M6 vs. 05' Mustang GT Auto
Straight to the point...
All the trash talking finally boiled over between one of my buddies and I, so were going to hash it out tonight on the strip for an easy $100. I'm workin' with a 2SS RS M6 and all i have done is a K&N CAI, and flowmaster cat backs. I've never had a dyno pull, so i cant say for sure what my rwhp is exactly, He has an 05' GT Auto, I know he for sure has his exhaust dumped out, I don't know what brand, but he has a CAI, and he has one of those portable tuners, also aftermarket wheels that look heavy as $#it! and thats all i know for sure. He has never had a dyno pull either, so there's really no tellin' what I'm up against. any reason to worry other than weight diff?

If you aren't a bad driver you should walk him.

You should be able to beat a some what stock 05 GT with no problem. It's the 2011's that everyone is worried about more. For me I'm not worried about a 2011 either.

As long as he hasn't supercharged it, the only way you'll lose is if you screw up the launch or miss a shift. Being 300 pounds lighter won't come close to making up for 125 fewer horses.

thats a bold statement.... care to make a signature with a mod list?
and to the OP. If you lose to a 05 stock~ish mustang gt... you need to let your wife/girlfriend drive your car from here on out. you should smoke the stang.

$100 says he's not telling you he has a 200 shot ready for you.

I know I should take him hand down, but he's every bit as confident about his car as I am about mine. I just wanted to here everyones two cents.

Its not a matter of, if he could have one. i know he could afford it, Its another thing for a 22 year old in the military not to brag about his car. I just think I would have heard about it.

You should take him no problem...if he was a manual it may be a bit closer, but regardless I give you the advantage in the 1/4....this isn't a 1/8 is it?
