Magnaflow Cat-Back (16583) Installed on 2013 1LT RS

Just finished installing the 16583 Magnaflow Cat-Back system on my car. Sounds great so far and I can only assume it will get deeper in tone after some carb build up.

Overall the install was easy as hell, I even pulled the entire stock exhaust out in one piece.

Here is a video of the sound just start-up, idle and revs. I will be doing drive by's shortly.

My brother in-law owns a shop... we did it together in 45 minutes.

Sounds a lot cleaner than the stock exhaust and no rasp, you going to add Solo HFC?

Looks and sounds great! This is by far my favorite setup for the V6.

Best regards,

My car currently has the K&N CAI and the Cat-back system. I will be adding the VMax ported TB once it arrives.

Yes HFC are in the future as the stock cats restrict the hell out of the exhaust. The current sound is great and the drone isn't bad at all. It is only really heard when driving up some fairly steep hills.

Just to re post this... I can feel the difference and obviously hear the difference since adding these. The car's sound at idle is perfect, not to loud but aggressive. Has a perfect purr to it.

Honestly... you can't hear the stock exhaust, that is what I hated and the ultimate reason why I got these.

I know Magnaflow makes great products with high quality... and I couldn't turn down the massive deal on got on these.

I have the exact same setup with the Vmax throttle body and love it. I do not see a point in the Solo Cat's, it sounds great and is very responsive just as it is. Let me know when/if you get the cat's. Would like to know how much of a difference they make, other wise I'm going to spend the cash on ACS T5 splitter and skirts.
