Key lock cylinder replacement
I'm looking for a DIY on how to replace the lock cylinder on a 1990 Camaro. Does anyone have a guide of know where to find a guide?
Thanks in advance.

I went into youtube and typed "cylinder lock replacement camaro" in the search box. a few videos popped up. see if one of them helps.

When you say lock cylinder do you mean the ignition switch? If so, you will have to have your original key measured for resistance at the dealership which is 1 thru 15 so the right blank can be use to cut the new key. Then you will have to train the new key once the cylinder is replaced. It's not that hard. I did it on a 2003 Buick Regal.

You'll need to train the key otherwise it will think you are stealing it
