Did you install it or have it installed? If you had it installed where did you have it done and how much?
I was thinking I could do it myself by borrowing the pipe cutter from autozone like I did when I put a new muffler on my HHR.

You can do it yourself... it's a simple bolt on.
If the drone is too much, add a resonated x-pipe to it. That will take care of the drone. The MRT is a great sounding exhaust! You're gonna love it...

I installed the MRT v.2 myself. Need a couple ramps or access to get under the rear end. A sawzall is especially handy. THERE IS DRONE. In my car is mostly heard at around 2000 rpms. My wife isn't too fond of it. I am okay with it but it is fairly loud. A SOLO with J pipe might be better but costs more. You'll love the sound of the MRT. You just may have to ride in her car more when you are together. Saves miles on the Camaro. It's pure GM muscle car when you step on it to get on the highway. The radio does cancel it out but then its tough to carry on a conversation. You should go for a ride in someone's car with the MRT to decide.

$550
I got mine on yesterday and yes it does have drone to it but outside the car it really sounds good, I drove it maybe 25 miles yesterday and I think it was actually starting to tone down on the drone a little already. It's snowing today so I probably won't get to drive it any. I hope to put a couple hundred miles on it this weekend though.

I have to say my MRTs do have drone but it isn't something that would make me hate them. I haven't really put mAny miles on them since my install in September so this weekend I will be putting around 500 for my trip to Orlando so I will see how it changes

I have driven about 150 miles with the MRT V2 on and I must say I love the sound they give on acceleration and up to about 65 mph. After that the drone is bothersome. Being I have a convertible I don't know if there is enough clearance to install a ResonatedX pipe in place of the H pipe. Right in front of the H pipe there is a big metal plate for stiffening the body. Even if there is enough clearance the install may be impossible without removing that plate. Also with the extra bracing in the rear I am not sure if there is room to install J pipes to cut the drone.
Since I do most of my driving below 65 I think I can put up with the drone at 70.
