air fuel ratio

What is the ideal afr and safe range afr for my car at idle and at wot? Mods in sig also running 100 octane.

Idle should hover around 14.7:1 (gas scale). Cars purposely hover around this number, cycling rich-lean-rich-lean-... which helps keep the catalytic converters hot to reduce emissions. This is known as "closed loop mode" since the output of the O2 sensors feeds back into the computer and the computer adjusts accordingly.

WOT on an N/A car around 12.5-12.8:1 (gas scale).

You richen the mixture at WOT to help cool the cylinders and prevent pre-detonation. Since the WOT values are beyond what a stock narrow band O2 sensor can accurately monitor, you would buy a wideband O2 sensor.

The 100 octane will be less likely to pre-detonate than pump gas.
