After reading all of this I feel for you OP. I'm going through a similiar situation with a repair facility, but not to this extreme. I'm tight lipped on the situation until it plays out since lawyers are involved.

So the dealership has a 10K difference to make up between probably the insurance estimate to a new ZL1 correct? Why in the world would they drag this out for 10K? I bet they lose way more then 10k especially when ur dealership is on TV for negative publicity through the whole Northeast. Makes me wonder sometimes. Goodluck to the OP I stand behind you and hopefully this knucklehead who wrecked your ride gets prosecuted somehow someway.

Yea, or close to it like $56,000 . But the dealer can pay $3,000 .

Just basically confirmed what the OP stated only this time the dealer and state police's tunes are a little different.

The state police state they're reviewing to see what they can charge the service writer with.

The dealers son says that they're working with their insurance agency and "if everyone has some patience" they will make the OP whole (no expansion on that)

and that they fired the service writer.

One piece of info that I didn't see in the thread that was stated in the story is that the dealership flat out responded when asked by OP "how bad is it?" "we are NOT fixing this"
