Whats the best way to put gas in the car at the track?
This car is a pig on the track. So I will be bringing my own fuel in the future.
Is there a proven funnel to use to pour it in? I saw some battery operated gas can transfer pumps.. Those sound like a good way but I dont see a 40 dollar item lasting to long. Also saw some more expensive 30 gallon tanks. Looking for an economical hassel free way to gas up from a can without making a mess and spilling 1/3 of the fuel on the side of the car. Thanks. |

A transmission funnel works well along with a gas can that doesn’t suck.

If your saying you have locks on your lug nuts and they did not give you the key for them. Then yes call and be pissed off, it was an added option, but I got the lugs that were on before the locks, key and of course package with replacement info on mine, how else would you get your wheels off? You shouldn't track with locks on either. Hearing some of these stories, I am so glad my dealer has taken care of me so far.

It does. It's in a little ziploc baggy. My 1LE had one. Brought 10 gallons of extra fuel with me to Sebring and just filled up in the paddock with the supplied funnel.

Why not use the gas pumps at the track? Much easier then trying to transport jugs of fuel in the car. Am I missing something?

Why pay twice the price? I don't have to leave the paddock if I bring my own. Also, I used to be straight E85...
