Polished Aluminum
I paid for the upgraded polished wheels on my 2SS. I love everything about this car with the EXCEPTION of these wheels. They have a real poor finish.
I would like to know what some of you others have done about this and are you as disappointed as I was? |

They are clearcoated, the only way to polish them is to have them stripped of the clearcoat and then re-polished (or chrome plated).
Not too disappointed with my stockers, most factory polished wheels from any brand of vehicle are about the same level of dull quality. I suggest you upgrade wheels

They are polished (and clearcoated) not chrome. Maybe your expections were too high. I am happy with mine.

Could be worse...you coulda got the "other wheels." lol
Nine...I love your sales approach. Awesome style! Treat em like a painted surface, since they are, and use the same polishes and waxes that you'd use on your painted surface of the car.. (i.e Zaino, Adams, etc..) I'm pretty cool with my polished style wheels for the price extra that I paid. Ivan |
