Just shop around, you can probably find somebody that will honor it. I couldn't find anybody real close, but did find a dealer a little further out that gave me both discounts.

USAA doesn't pay out the $750....GM allots 750 for you being a USAA member. GM requires proof of your name being on the item showing from usaa. If the dealer accepts and doesn't have your name with usaa item the dealer foots the 750. Most dealers that accept usaa will also do the 500 opt-out and military discounts which counts for the same value as the supplier discount. But they are right it is solely up to the dealer to accept any discount offered. I called every dealer in my area and no one would honor any discounts. I just started calling all the chevy dealers within 100mi until I got the first one to give me all my discounts. Went from 30,980 to 28990 with military discount to 28240 usaa to 27740 60day opt-out. Not to shabby....if you got more questions about it ask. I have been researching all of this for over 2 months now.

Cool! I was wondering if you could use both discounts together

You can use them together, if the dealer accepts them. You will need proof of membership of each one, USAA and Credit Union discount. Call if you need help.

From my comparison it is cheaper to use the military discount than the credit union one. If you are active duty/reservist/national guard :flag1:I would go with that. The reason 750 is being offered by GM is that they are not utilizing the "build your new car" option on the usaa website.

Military Discount and Credit Union Discount is the same price. So if you use the Military Discount and the USAA discount the price you pay will be the exact same as it would be if you did Credit Union Discount and the USAA discount.

So there is a Military discount now? When did that one surface? I may have to ask Jimmy Johnson if they do that one. San Diego is a military town so they may not even do it.

I'm from Norfolk, VA so we are just as large if not larger. Just have to search around for a dealer to honor it. The military pricing has been around on the camaro for awhile now.

I have to call the Sales Manager at Jimmy Johnson this afternoon and see if they do accept this discount. I know they don't accept the Credit Union Discount but accept the USAA and 60 Day waiver on the return.

currently no incentive from GM on Credit union discounts for the Camaro. Just USAA and military pricing.

Called Jimmy Johnson's and no Credit Union Discount/Military Discount on ZR1's and Camaro's. But my order should be going to code 2000 this thursday(keeping fingers crossed) and it @ MSRP and they are Honoring the USAA and 60 day waiver discounts.

The GM Supplier Discount and the Credit Union Discount: If you qualify for these and even if you are issued an authorization number, your dealer is not required by GM to honor these discounts. It's up to the dealer, some will honor it, most won't. The 60 day buy back $500 is the only one they will honor, that does not come off their bottom line.

I honor them all... Ask Jimmy how much he'd charge for a courtesy delivery - I'll get it built and delivered there

And I have open allocation the next three weeks to get the car to 2000 status as well

$500 gauantee waiver is good until the end of November
