Oh Man, I feel like I'm SOL - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Ok, I live here in Louisville, Ky and only one dealer took deposits for MSRP. I looked on the thread for MSRP dealers and thought I found one half the way in Indiana. I gave the internet salesman my credit card # for the 1k deposit over the phone. We also exchanged emails before hand of what they wanted for the Camaro. Today I called to cancel the high wing spoiler...the salesman told me he was leaving the company and I spoke with a new salesman. I told him that I never received my alpha numeric order # either (the first salesman kept coming up with excuses). He then told me that they only did that to the first four. I told him I was supposed to be number 25 of 26 allotments. I then found out that there were only four allotments, long gone. He was to call me back and when he didn't after two hours, I called them. Well that was over an hour ago and still haven't received a call.

BTW, I thought I ordered 11-4:(

You need to find a reputable dealer. Talk to Camaro Scotty he will take care of you. He is on here. Just do a search

I'd say SOL sounds about right. Somebody needs to take a ass woopin' over that raw deal!!! Shall we send the boys in Burbans to KY?

EDIT: On the bright side, at order #25 with only 4 allotments at that dealership you weren't slated to get your car before 2010, so if you can now find a dealer with an allotment remaining, you will be moving your delivery up to late summer '09. Luckily you found out now, not later!

Yeah, I was looking in the mailbox again today before I called

and it was empty...again. I really believe it was the salesman I was working with but the other one could have at least called me back. I will be looking at other dealers within driving distance but I am afraid that the allotments are getting low by now.
