Great work and very nice car.

Still dumbfounded as to why would someone buy a brand new 60k car and gut it like that and to still weigh a hefty 3600lbs? I mean wouldn't it have been easier to start with a 10k car and still be in the same spot except maybe at 2600lbs?

Anyway, good luck with your car I'm sure it's a helluva driver now.

I'm doing with a z28 what it was bred to do. If someone buys a z28 to put it in a garage that's when someone should be dumbfounded. Plus I have a very reliable (knock on wood) track car.

Making that heavy race car more "race" than "car" is perfectly fine in my book, chapter 1320.

Awesome thread! Pretty much shaved everything possible!? Depending on perf mods, exhaust system upgrades on these not only make power but save some serious LBS... Not to mention CF doors ... Lexan.. lol I'm getting the itch now! Best of luck this season

I wonder were GM got the idea for a big wing on the new 6th Gen Z/28 test mule?!? So, how much more feel does the wing give over the spoiler/wicker bill setup?

Honestly, with all of the other work done to your car, why no carbon hood/roof/trunk lid? A little weight savings to be had in that department.

I'm in the process of working with Anderson composites for dry carbon parts. Hope to have an update soon.
