I think you could pick up that 8/10th of a second you need just by getting on the throttle a tad bit sooner on your corner exits ....
being a little braver but still within your limits usually helps me pickup a second or two on any given track, specifically, being more courageous with your late breaking going into a turn and getting on the throttle a bit earlier on corner exit does it for me ... Good Luck! |

All, thank you very much for the positive coaching. I'll take this to heart next time around. I think after the Andretti hairpin I should be accelerating in 2nd. Current I take that in 3rd gear the whole way to turn 3. I'm slowing down at turn 3 vs accelerating up to it. And on turn 11 I think I'm scrubbing off too much time getting to close to the apex and could use more track on entry.
Someone else said it here that I could also wait a bit more and have a later apex. All fun stuff and good to work on! I'm thinking about Thunder Hill in June/July and Fontanna in Sept if anyone is interested. Need to break it to the wife. ;-) Mark H: I'm not sure about silver state. Can you send me a link to review? Todd: totally appreciate the comments. It's good to drive the car home!

Billy: haven't had a chance to do the headphone test but will. Great idea. Thanks for the tip.

Brian -Did you leave traction control on or did you put it in Competition Mode or off? That is awesome that you are improving! :-) What you might do (if you trust them) is have an instructor or someone like Backeddy drive you around the course in your car. (He's claimed to do the course in the low 1:40s in a stock 1LE. Then You will have an idea of where you are leaving momentum/speed on the table. It's tough to get a feel for this in Forza because you have little references other than your position on track. IN the car you have engine revs, g forces, road feel, etc.
