Nice to hear that you won't be street racing with it. I take it your Camaro is stock?

Note that when Ford had no real competition, the Mustang just kind of plugged along with the 3.8 and the 4.6. Challengers were never really considered as competition because of the price. It's on now, and the customers will be the ultimate winners. Ed Beagly is left hanging his head in shame of all of us neandrathals.

Just practice on your driving and I think you will get him. If he doesn't have gears you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Well maybe you shouldn't take the internet so seriously. If that little comment hurts your ego that bad then you have a problem. There have been far worse comments said in this thread and I guess you missed those pages. |

So look for the 2011 Mustang GT to have a 400 hp /380 ft-lb 5.0L engine, getting probably 17/26 for fuel economy. The car will probably weigh about 3600 lbs. A drag race will come down to the smaller details like traction, gearing, and not least of all ... driver skill.

Even if the Mustang GT with the Coyote engine does perform on par with the Camaro SS we still have three things going for us: 1) 6.2L (no replacement for displacement) engine that is very likely to respond to mods better, 2) Our cars are better looking and, 3) It's not a women's car j/k.
