v6 Camaro = mid 14s ???
srt4 = low 14s.

srt4 is a quick little bugger. Saw one at the track running solid 14.0-14.2~

Stock for stock with equal drivers:

SRT4. Fastest bone stock SRT4 Neon I've seen run is 13.9 @ 100.9.

Modded SRT4's are street monsters, and are NOT to be f***ed with.

A Camaro vs. a SRT4 Caliber is a more even fight, as they run avg. 14.2's.

Prob. didn't know how to drive.

SRT4 almost gets into SS territory on the track. Don't think the v6 would have much chance in the 1/4. Maybe from a roll, but not on the strip....

coming from a former owner of one. stock for stock the srt would win. ran a 13.97 bone stock. Modded it ran 11.3.

Maybe the guy you raced couldn't drive.

This is incorrect. There is no Federal national speed limit anymore, it's up to the individual States now.

THey are still very 14 second cars so no way unless the guy REALLY couldn't drive you were pulling like that.

Every city has a sign that states the speed limit, unless otherwise posted.

State laws usually are wrote saying that if their is no speed limit sign than the speed limit is xx in the city and xx on the highway.

At least I know that is how it is in South Carolina.

Individual states do have maximum speed limits, which will vary by state. But there is no Federal national speed limit.

Something isn't adding up here. I had a 93 Mustang GT making 373 rwhp and pulled one of these little turbo'd 4 bangers by 2-3 cars from a roll. Maybe he didn't hear you honk and had no idea what you were doing?
