That camo is giving me a headache.

Think the production Z-28 will have the Sparco seats and the roll cage?!!?

50K is too high. Might as well buy a Vette. I think it'll be in the mid 40's.

I think you are right .. they will price it around the same as the GT500 .. if it comes in mid 40's it will be a hell of a deal, but I'm guessing 48k ..

Lol.
Prototypes on a race track have roll cages just in case they loose control and hit a wall. Drivers are somewhat difficult to replace.

I think it has to be priced higher than the Vette, since it will probably be a better car in almost every way except fuel economy. If they undercut the Corvette, 'vette sales will take a hit unless they dilute the Z28, in which case they'll have a PR nightmare from all the enthusiasts that have been demanding a Z28 for years. The best course of action for GM is for the Z28 to cost a bit over 50k.

And in the end, if you can afford a 45k car you can probably afford a 50k car too.

Do you really think its going to be a better car in every way except fuel economy than the Corvette?

I think, except for short, auto-X-type course, that G's statement could be correct.
