Yes everything should swap over. Cooler can be plugged if not using. If using, would have to get the lines. They come from the transmission. The transmission is the pump as well to pump the fluid. So if using as a standalone, would have to integrate a pump to move the fluid.

Running one in the vert. I hooked up the cooler with 6an black nylon braided line and made adapters from factory hose ends with a flaring tool. That connects to 6an/6an male/male and the trans and radiator took 6an/6ORB male/male fittings. I currently run 1LE axles which are very close to the Z28 axles; in fact, I could not tell the difference when I had them side by side.

Do the Z/28 hold less oil then the SS because of the cooler taking up space? Do you run the same oil as the True Trac Diff's? Non syn no additives?

I can't remember capacity off the top of my head. I run Amsoil in both of mine. Z/28 and 1LE. The 1LE gets the additive in it. The Z does not. The torsion diff does not require the additive.

That cooler is not that big. It bolts to the rear cover.
