I liked it, makes it more visible. The dark one is so dark its almost looking like the black painte
d one. Gonna see if the one i had is still at dealer as i think it looked better than the warrany part they put on |

it was cool but its gone now. dealer said due to cost of part they sent it back immediately. its very disappointing that GM has no consistancy in the warranty parts. since my car arrived with the purple style one they shouldve sent me the exact same style. now after 2 months of ownership (thats how long it took to get the part as well) im going to have to deal with a completely different look. i had an interior door panel that came scratched upon delivery as well and it took 4 tries to get the right part in. they kept sending the proper box with the wrong parts inside.

I am in the composite industry and the purple is from a product called cobalt, it is an additive to speed the cure up of the product when the temps are very cold. I am shocked this wouldn't be cured in a controlled climate and the use of cobalt would be minimal.
Unless they are using a procedure I have never seen. |
