How hot should my whipple be???

I've had the charger on the car just over a year now. It was 95 here today and I went for a ride after work. after I popped the hood and went to lay my hand on top and the whipple was hot! Not hot enough to burn me but I couldn't leave my hand up there but a sec. Seems last summer it run very cool and I could lay my hand on it right after a 1/4 blast or a good hard drive around town. I do run 100% meth that kicks on at 4lbs of boost. If it's not normal what should I be looking for.. Thanks for your time

its normal, the blower is sitting on a hot engine, what did you expect

Right and this has nothing to do with meth, meth controls intake air temp rise from boosting the air and helps very little with heatsoak from the blower sitting over a hot motor. Get an intake air temp gauge, look at your coolant temp, oil temps and so on if everything is in check ur good, putting your hand on the blower is an indication of nothing.

Lol ok guess I'm just tripping and been a little freaked since the crap 6l80 is going out and just spent a good amount on a 4l and parts. Just didn't remember it ever being that hot last summer and after taking it to the drag strip 2 months ago popped my hood after every pull and always check the heat just never got that hot. I will check my temps and thx for the feed back

seriously though you shouldn't worry about the blower being hot, even a bone stock car will be hot to the touch especially if you have an aluminum cold air intake or a sheetmetal intake then you're in burning category

Heat rises !! Your blower is a heat sink..
