For this latest recall for 2014 Camaros, does it impact all 2014's?

No, only a very few will be recalled, of the 4 car lines there are only 117 cars worldwide going to be recalled for this issue.

I think what you really mean is that this is the 117th thread about a recall started in the wrong sub-forum.

I know they're trying to save face but man, they passed the tipping point 2 recalls ago, now they're just screwing themselves. I never had a thought of moving on from the camaro until now, sheesh.

...hmmm...........I think a "boat-load" of money is perhaps the appropriate term for a mental picture metaphor, rather than "butt-load"....lol....

Nope because GM still has not officially released this recall (according to my dealer). My dealer knows about it but has no official recall on it. As I understand it the only official thing on this was the stop sale.

That would seem to indicate to me that there was a critical nut/bolt that required a torque value which was "inadvertantly" overlooked or was not performed. If this was not critical there would be no recall. That would be like not torqueing the lugnuts on the wheels. True if not torqued to spec(specification) the end user may never know about it, or maybe the wheel comes off the car while on the freeway causing an accident. It is probably fine hand tight or as tight as you can get it with a mechanics socket wrench. But with a torque value in place it's pretty much guaranteed to stay on what ever it was supposed to when the torque value is applierd and reached, until a certified mechanic removes it.

Does anyone know if the early('09-'13) were in fact involved?
