Could mean mid-3 second 0-60 runs.

Either raised the RPM fuel cutoff, or we're looking at 2.39:1 or higher 1st gear then, to hit 60MPH in 1st.
Been talked about a bit here in other threads. |

If I remember correctly, Al said that they found they were extremely close to hitting 60 in 1st while the car was under development, so they finagled things a bit (99% sure it was the fuel cutoff being raised a hair, instead of a gearing change) and now it does.
Mostly its going to help with 'hero runs' and magazine testing, as most people will be shifting before that when at the drag strip

Didn't he say 3.73s for A10s and M6s? If so, I'm with 'Wiki - probably a mid-2' ratio for first gear to wind out to 6500 past 60. That should keep it within a squeak of the A10s 0-60 it seems to me. And I'm not complaining for stock tires on an unprep'd surface. That's DANG good.

My video posted in my other thread actually shows him talk about this 0-60. Not sure why the OP tags my part one video as it doesnt have him say this. I can't remember if he mentions the gearing.

OK. Well - it's right there. I must've thought I heard something else about the 3.73s, but the M6s are getting it, so I didn't screw that up too much.

I think C6 ZR1s got a low 1st gear, like 2.40 or something, in order to run to 60 without shifting... Those were running 3.42s, though I think, but on shorter 26-inch tires, whereas I imagine ZL1 will be running a few inches bigger like last generation.

60 mph
I think the ratio of the differential can be from 3.31 to run 60 miles without making the switch to second gear
