In looking into getting my car tuned soon, but should I get a dyno tune or should I purchase a sctx4? I'm cold air intake and full exhaust only...

If dyno, any recommendations for the south texas area? I'm 2 hours away from San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and the valley.

Sct4. You won't need a Dyno unless you cam or go FI

for going on 2 years now I have been using dynoSteve at RDP...IMHO dyno overkill for basic bolts on's unless establishing baseline data to track improvements...

he(they) have an AWESOME deal on a SCT/tune for life!(NOBODY offers this! and you do not need to buy part's from them(would be nice and cheaper..lol)) to get the free updates...ya just email Steve and BAM..new tune...like freakin magic!

case in point..was on my 2nd dynoSteve tune last Sat at the track...kept hittin the limiter 'cause the freakin thing rev's so fast...emailed Steve on Sun evening explaining what was going on....Mon am by like 10 he had my 3rd tune in my inbox!

Mon afternoon got the new tune uploaded....WOW!

here(again lol) is my vid from last sat and my best run to date...goin back this Sun hopefully and she if she's got 11's in her...

Nice run! You gained .6 just from an updated tune!? Or have you just not updated your sig lately?

with those mods, I would suggest tune with sct x4 with dynosteve, love my setup

prior to last week I was at 12.4 at 110..same '60...air was freakin awesome so DA was prob -200's...so finally after 2 seasons of draggin this ride I am now able to put it all together....the term "driver mod" get's thrown around, possibly without really comprehending what all that it entails...and this is what got me a .3 drop and a 4 mph improvement...ALONG with Steve's great tune...

per prior this Sun with slick's is gonna get real interestin along with my new(3rd) tune...rev limter raised to keep me from hittin it...peace
