Anyone using cam motion Titan 3?

I’m looking into doing a cam swap for my ls3 bolt on car. Just a weekend toy. I’m after low idle chop with decent gains. I’ve talked to TSP and GPI about their packages and both have been very helpful, but I don’t think a cam with maximum duration and/or lift is what I’m after.
Here’s the Titan specs
Duration - 227/237
Lift - .621/.604
Lobe separation - 113
Intake center line - 109.5

Why not contact btr and tell them exactly what you want they custom grind cams and hit the top of the mark for cam design knowledge.

That’s pretty good advice Greenhornet2. I haven’t thought of that.
Did you run that blower cam any before you added the Whipple?

Er...GPI sells four different cam lines, SS1-4, why not just pick a smaller one?

All stages of their ls3 cams have the same 646/.637 lift. I’m not interested in changing springs every 20k and I’m after a low idle.

This would be true with Texas speed though their stage 2 or 3 is definitely in the running.
Just don’t want to be kicking myself after the job is done

I would still change springs out 20-25 k for insurance.
My previous 5th gen was a cam motion 226/236.
.629/.629 and I was recommended to change springs at that interval. That Titan cam is similar

Honestly I only put on about 2k a year. My car has 28k on it. So every 20k wouldn’t be the end of the world. So maybe a bigger cam is an option
Still wouldn’t want a high idle though

I've got 32k on my springs right now and I'm running the cam TSP puts in most NA race builds.

Are you running.660 lift springs?
I’m just uneasy about running max lift and duration

Anything over .600 seems to be taxing on springs and they will need to be replaced. I didn't run this cam before i had the whipple. I was on the stock cam last year with the whipple. I don't like the cookie cutter cams but there is only so much you can do, unfortunately you can't have the best of all worlds with a can.

Way more than lift and duration involved.Different cam lobes like (EPS) and ramp rates can be easier on the the springs.. Also lighter Ferrera valves can help reduce stress on valve springs. Have to look at the whole set up

Words to live by Rupertpupkin!
If I lean that way I really like the chop of the cam motion Titan king but it’s hard to go by you tube vids and I don’t have much performance data like tsp and gpi provide

Agreed. Has anyone checked spring rates after 30k miles? Or is the main concern complete failure
