Nifty little custom front plate bracket.

Everyone here at the dealership knew I was dreading having to put on the front license plate and Loudoun County is full of county, state and Leesburg police so I just didnt want to risk having no front plate. One of the mechanics machined some parts and made this simple yet, nifty little plate bracket for me. The back plate goes behind the bottom grill and it comes with bushing/spacers and bolts to the front plate. He showed me on one of the Camaros here. It almost looks like it's a floating front plate. I'll be posting pics tomorrow of the bracket installed. I realize there are other solutions, but for now this one will work great.

Yes, it can be removed pretty easily. This will be my minor fix until I get the remote retracting license plate bracket.

Does the front bumper need to come off in order to install that? I saw the video on this thread of taking the bumper off to do the magnet installation and that is way more than what I want to do.

I hope the bracket you have is an easier install.

This bracket only took about ten minutes to install. Didnt need to remove anything. I just slid the back plate thru the grill and used a wire tie in opposite corners to hold it in place so I can easily put all four of the bolts in. Except for this ridiculous 100+ plus heat we're having it was an easy install.

Id also be worried about the plate moving around scratching the hell out of the front bumper. That's alot of work for something that has some big ifs in it.
