Yes anyone can slip a clutch in the parking lot to creep. That's not really the point. Do you cruise at 1200rpm with a big NA cam? The efficiency is not the lower rpm on a big NA cam, it's just not. Can you make it work, yes of course you'll be downshifting a lot more compared to a smaller cam, sc car. Trying to give the OP the differences not just saying well i like mine it works for me. Or telling people they don't know how to drive lol.

It depends on your goals and the size of your wallet really.

I personally like the full exhaust, catless, heads, big cam, E85, blower car.

Current setup is in my sig.

Made 760 rwhp through a 6L80 and Circle D 3400 stall on E85.

Also....

I run a Stage 3 Texas Speed VVT 3.2 cam wth DoD / AFM delete. I ran it n/a and currently with the Centrifugal ProCharger D1X and have never had surging and bucking.

N/a idle on E85

With blower on 93 pump for winter

Had to move up to ID1300x injectors and add a DSX auxiliary pump for fuel system and then did a built Tim King CTSV 6L90 for 1,000 hp, Circle D 3400 triple disc converter and DSS 3.5" one piece aluminum drive shaft. Then I did the whole fan cooled Holley / Earls oil cooler setup for a trans cooler.
Best of both worlds
Sounds awesome John!
Not to thread hijack just wondering if that 6L90 was a difficult swap?

IMHO... Easy swap.

Just had to get the DSS 6L90 to SS rear diff driveshaft, swap in the TCM / techm assembly, make a plate to mount to the longer CTSV trans and retune to make it work.

Pretty sure a ZL1 6L90 will bolt right on to the trans mount, but you might need a DS since 6L90's are a small bit longer.

Stock 6L80 from my SS. Note the shorter tail shaft and where the trans mount is vs the 6L90:

CTSV 6L90

Plate to mount the trans back to the stock mount and cross member:

I could use the sound of John's car to help me sleep at night. The tone of the exhaust and lope, aww man...so comforting. Occasionally I use the recorded sounds of B-17s to sleep to, but this would be a worthy replacement.

Such a sick build.

I grew up hearing the sound of B52's throttling up in the middle of the night near a SAC base.

When I was in my early teens I used to stay the summers right outside Warner Robbins AFB. I got to see and hear so many awesome things back then.

It's a full Kooks exhaust.

Choices:

1-7/8" X 3" SS HEADERS. 2010-2015 CAMARO SS/ZL1 6.2L https://kooksheaders.com/1-7-8-x-3-headers1265

or

2" X 3" SS HEADERS. 2010-2015 CAMARO SS/ZL1 6.2L https://kooksheaders.com/2-x-3-headers1266

with

3" SS CATTED HEADER-BACK EXHAUST W/SS TIPS. 2010-2015 CAMARO SS https://kooksheaders.com/full-3-header-back1278

And then get the off road cat delete pipes for race day

3" NON-CATTED CONNECTIONS. 2010-2015 CAMARO SS/ZL1. DOES NOT CONNECT TO OEM https://kooksheaders.com/3-x-3-connections

I agree! My cammed Na is definitely not as easy to drive in parking lots and bumper to bumper traffic. A super charger on stock cam would be easier
