Drivers side window issues

I am having a window issue, When I remove the key from the ignition and open the drivers door the radio does not turn off and the dome light wont come on like usual. In addition to that the drivers window will not go up or down. I can lower the passenger window from either side but no response on the drivers window. Note that when I disconnect the battery for a while and reconnect the car asks me to index the passenger but not the drivers side. As if there is no drivers side? Anyone else have this problem and what's the solution?
Thanks

Your driver's side door open sensor is disconnected or broken.

It's part of the door latch, unfortunately, which is behind the door panel.

If the window doesn't step down when the door is ajar, yet you are not getting a door ajar message, the circuit is open.

Hopefully someone here has fixed this and can help. But be aware that the BCM is involved. You could waste a lot of money replacing parts, or you could get a diagnosis from a pro.
