What color is you ride? I have two local buddies with this grille, one silver one orange. The heritage grille is just a good looking piece.

Here's a before and after shot from when I put mine on last year.

Definitely an upgrade to the look of the car, I don't know if there would be anymore airflow from it truthfully.

The local Chevy dealer has them and will sell at their cost but does not the front have to be removed to install one?

The bumper cover does need to come off. It’s not hard to do with simple ratchet set and clip puller. The worst part is getting to the top bolt between the cover and fender. Without extensions it can be tight and tricky to get to. You can do it without pulling the wheel Wells out also but I choose to pull them so I don’t have to keep moving them out of the way while I work but I have done it both with and without wheel Wells. If your not comfortable doing it I wouldn’t think it would cost much to have done at a shop it’s not very time consuming if you know exactly how to get it off.

I was looking at how the oem grill holes taper closed as they go in, while this would accelerate the air flow it would also cut down on the volume. I am thinking the heritage grill would allow more total airflow and if I leave the front bow tie off 🤔

Yeah you have to pop the front cover off because the grille clips on from the back. But it's really not tough to do it.
