I still can't find out when the first SW was built- 2010 color, model, option break down numbers for the 2010 Camaros.
It seems to me GM doesn't care since there's no $$$$ in it for them. I hope Scott proves me wrong.
It's not a case of where we don't care.

the problem is that we're not flush in people these days - like any other business, we have pared down to the bone....and frankly, many of us are working 6 and 7 days a week. It's a matter of priorities. We're working on bringing you amazing products - that's what's most important.

The numbers are in the Camaro white book for 2010. That said, I don't know when we built the first white 2010 -- and I'm not sure anyone does unless they run the VINS manually and search for the first white one -- and even if we do that - it still doesn't tell you how many we built between the first one and yours.

Again - it's not a case of where we don't care - if that were the case, I would not be on this site.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I gotta cut the manufacturer some slack on this...As much as everybody is curious about there own car, it has nothing to do with the manufacturing process....Sure the info is there, but it gets analyzed and all categorized by interested collectors and such many years after the fact, not by the manufacturer soon after production for the public's enjoyment...

Scott, Thanks for the above explanation.
My bad thinking Camaro stats were only a keyboard away- I guess not.

I posted the 45th Build counts - and I have reason to believe that they're incorrect.

I've been requesting reports - I got one report that's well over 100 pages long -- I've spent about 6 hours on it and can safely say:

1. Holy Cow, that's a lot of paper

2. Wow - do we have a ton of engineering codes or what??

3. Either my abbacus is broken or the reports may be wrong.

.....so - EVENTUALLY I will post build counts.

I'll break down:

>ZL1
>45th
>Transformers
>Synergy
>Color counts
>option counts

...we can't go much beyond that.....

BUT - I have lots of other stuff that needs my attention right now - so please - don't PM me. (I love to hear from you - but the box keeps filling....)

When I DO get them straightened out - you'll find 'em RIGHT HERE on this site - and I'll ask the Mods to put it up on the Front Page so people can know that they're here..........

Now - lemme go find my magnifiers -- (...awful to get old........)
Scott - if you need help with sorting through the numbers let me know. We could meet up at the Volt Bar or Andiamos' bar or something and sort through all that paper.

PS - If you have it in electronic format, I bet I could figure out how to run statistics software against it and get the total counts even easier.

You use an abbacus? I'm excited to see the synergy count.

I have one in my garage, that is all the information I need. Anything else for me fits into the "blah blah blah" catagory.

I agree...can't see what the real value of detailed production info would be other than another reason to start meaningless petty-arguments about certain models and options....

The big dogs have the first, low vins already...that ship has already sailed....

You are SO ON for this!

I'm out on business for the next two weeks - but we'll get together once I get the right info....and we'll go from there.

To everyone.....

I do agree that having this information is important - esp because I want to see Mike Antonick continue on with the Camaro White Book (and the Corvette Black Book) -

....plus it's nice to know volumes and to see how many of our 'special editions' were built........

Give me a ring when you're back in town. I've referenced the White Book numerous times, it's the least I can do to help contribute to the community.

Can you tell me how many left-handed spanner wrenches were used on building red cars with black trim without the connectivity package, please?
