I think you are fine if your are running 93 octane which is recommended for this car by GM. In California 93 octane is not available so I mix Sunoco 100 with 91 pump to get 93 octane. I do this with two of my cars and works fine, the 100 octane is expensive $8.99 per gallon, but worth it.

Pulled F5 and F20 in the engine bay, and F10 in the trunk -
Whats the minimum time I should let it sit before I go plug back in and see if I notice a difference? Hoping 2-3 hours max? |

Let it sit for 2 1/2 hours. Didn't notice a difference - but I did notice it took an extra blip to turn over when I started it. Hope it worked?

Pulling Fuse 5 and 20 on my 2014 ZL1 was a waste of time. It did not do anything. The second time I tried it, I thought I would test to see which side of the socket was hot, so I could ground the other side in an attempt to drain any charge on the ECM. Guess what... Neither side is hot while the ignition is off. Hence pulling these fuses does nothing but wear out the socket. Besides, I have a damn hard time believing that GM would let the ZL1 get "stuck" in the low performance map.
BTW, I'm going to check the fuse in the trunk. |

The trunk fuse is in fact hot. I removed it. The top pin is hot, so I tested the bottom pin. It had about 1 volt which I watched slowly drop. I went ahead and drained it to ground. I'll plug it back in tomorrow. Tomorrow night, I'm going to the strip...

Why won't this thread die? Keep premium fuel in your car. Problem solved. Fuse pull is a waste of time unless someone RECENTLY put cheap fuel in your car. If it was a few tankfulls ago the car has adapted already.

Which fuse numbers to pull out in the '14 ZL1? Where are they located?
