By your plates, I assume you are still in North Dakota.

Got a good laugh out of that.

Car looks nice.

Hahaha, well maybe not Texas hot, but 87 degrees isn't ideal for washing weather, thanks!

Honestly, that's my worst (realistic) fear for a car show, put in all that work and then it freakin' rains.

Looks good. Just did mine a few days ago, but it was 97+. You knows it's hot when your sweat drips onto the wax you just put on your paint

Yeah that sounds more of the right ballpark. Thanks! I forgot until I was in my dim garage, I couldn't get a good detailed picture with my iphone to show the extent of the swirls.

Oh man, I feel you. It wasn't that hot, but by the time I started waxing I couldn't keep my glasses on my face. I have plastic frames and they just wanted to slide off my face the whole time, so annoying!

Up where I am, from a real quality detailer such a service would run around $500, and they have the car for 2 days to do it.

Car looks great OP! I recently polished my entire car using the same combo, but I split it up over 3 different weekends, my total time investment was probably also around 12 years.

Nice thing about doing such a service on your car is if you really maintain it...it won't be necessary to go near as extensive again, just maintenance services a couple times a year.

Thanks!
Your 110% correct. Your car looks very nice!!! No real detailers that are actually doing proper paint correction are going to do an entire car for $ 150.00 bucks, just not going to happen. You may get a wash, clay wax job for that but even that's doubtful. 20-30 hrs is not unheard of on car that hasn't been well taken care of and that's just for the exterior of the car. I've done plenty of vehicles with some pretty hammered paint and to do a two step correction with sealant and wax your going to put some serious hours into it.

Looks good!

I would add the Adams Under-Carriage Spray to your wheel wells. After you clean, just spray and let dry, really finishes off the look of the wheels.
