That sounds amazing....every time the car does a drive by, it reminds me of these bombs:

*rant off*

200mph is crazy. Really want to see some members take their SS to the Texas Mile and see what they can do.
The article only states nitrous oxide not "NOS"

In the video he says Nitrous Outlet and the bottled are clearly labeled as such.

He tried for 200 MPH in a Mustang last year and couldn't get it!

I'm very interested in the GM performance parts lowering kit!

Awesome video regardless of who ran this car that fast. It's a good test of the body aerodynamics if it runs 202 with only 600 HP. I have seen posts where a bone stock 2016 ran to 173 with 455 crank HP. Not sure if 600 is to the wheels or what and that would be interesting to know.

A few answers to some of the questions:
1. Aero and ride quality were excellent at 170-200 mph.
2. Chevy Performance lowering kit is very good and works great.
3. This car made 530 rwhp on motor and 660 rwhp on nitrous.
4. We wanted to simulate the power our supercharger kit would make and ran the car as such. The blower is now installed and we may go back to make a few more runs.
5. We were limited on time and only made one run. The driver said he could get a few more mph by coming out of the turn with more speed. We will see.
6. I am test driving the car now with the heads/cam/headers/supercharger kit. Drove it for the first time yesterday. Wow.
7. This is just information and not a commercial. I have contacted the admins to find out what we need to do to become a sponsor.
8. We are not big forum guys and just like to build fast cars. But felt that it would be a good idea to be able to answer questions when they come up. I don't check forums or PM's much at all.
9. Our Mustang runs from last year were made at the same test track. Our first test was 195 mph and speed limited by rpm on ecu. Our second test we ran 207.9 mph. 5.0 Mustang with blower makes a lot of power to 8000 rpm. Camaro has better low and mid range power. Both are 200 mph capable. Camaro easier to drive at high speed.

Thanks for the input. I'm curious about the specifics on the track. Is it a 4 mile oval or something like that. Not very fancy but looks like you have some room because it isn't climbing very fast over 180 mph. Why not do it on the highway like you did with the C7 and the ZL1?
