I would say it's the one for me, i am probably the only person that has owned three of them, and currentely own two. I bought an AGM 15 when they had the 20% of in Dec 14, sold it to a forum mbr here, had sellers remorse, bought a SIM 15 cream puff with low miles that's in deep storage, just bought another 15 in RH that i'm actually going to enjoy. These are such special cars, never be another like it( and i have a GT350R in the garage next to it).

If you look on Autotrader, there are less than twenty listed. A year ago they were in the hundreds with several still on dealer lots new. Most of the one's now out there are 3-4 owner cars at this point, the original owners have long ago cycled through theirs. Sayin it again, we have seen the bottom on the nice one's.

It wasn't nearly as capable as the Z/28, but the day I traded it on a 2013 ZL1, I felt a twinge of regret as I was collecting my stuff from the car just after finalizing the deal. Several months later I was certain I'd made a mistake and actually tried to buy another Boss, but couldn't find what I wanted at the right price. Then, along came a brand new Z/28 at $58k... the night I drove it home and knew the hype was real.

Fast forward 2.5 years and 26.5k miles later and I still look forward to driving it each and every time. That said, I am about to do some performance upgrades (btw, I used to think I'd never mod mine and now I am..more on that below). I was even considering selling it and getting a ZL1 1LE. Does this mean that it's not the "one"? Quite the opposite... as strong as the ZLE pull was, I knew I couldn't trade in my Z, walk away and not regret it. Some can and have, but I know I'd miss its perfect blend of old school demeanor and new school capabilities.
Yeah - I saw you on the Z1LE forms and thought you were leaving. Glad you realized that there will always be faster cars, but none like the last Z/28. I'm sure the original 1964 Ferrari 250 gt owner thought the same about buying a new model Ferrari. Now look at their price and style.

I've taken mine to a few cars and coffee events here, and it always gets a lot of attention. It's a very well known car among the exotic crowd. I've only seen 1 other local one and that was a year ago.
