I was not really thrilled with the D. Young pickup....he has bad baggage....but the guy can hit, so we will see.

Indians bombed 7 hr's tonight against our pathetic pitchers.....and not one got knocked down. I hate this sissified version of modern baseball. The old days were better.....when a hitter dug in against Bob Gibson, boy he could count on getting knocked down first pitch. Same thing with Drysdale. Gonna be a loooong dry spell in Philly again.

when running on all cylinders the phils can put together a heck of a stretch i just see it getting tougher for them bcuz of the teams dominating their division now.. braves are out of control good... nats gonna be up there til the end.. even with the extra wild card spot phils are probably gonna be on the outside looking in for a while.. and as bad as it sounds its gonna be a fight for 3rd with the Mets theyre starting to play decently here and there that Harvey kid is giving them a brighter future thats for sure..

definitely the team to be in the NL.... pitching hitting and bullpen all solid.. i wish my team clicked like they do..
