Well said sir, so many people forget that without the Mustang we would not have the Camaro.

50 points for the one that can tell me which came first....we owe the birth of the Camaro to the Mustang.

Test driving is intended to weed out problems that can lead to things like that happening to the rest of us. What that little episode probably means is that there's still a little chassis tuning left to do, although it's also possible that the driver was just trying a little too hard to make something happen.

I agree with you, twice the mustang brought about the birth (& rebirth) of the camaro. I like all American muscle. I really like the 12 boss. I just think they went into the wrong direction trying to design it for a global market instead of for the US and the styling reflects it.

Ultimately, for me, it not just the performance that makes me buy, but also the looks. If I have the fastest car with it has "grow on me" looks, then I wouldn't be satisfied with it. The current mustang, challenger, and camaro all looks great IMO. Just not feeling the new mustang.

Yes it's just a matter of time before the HP wars peak and drop off just like they did before. Just this time, looks like the HP peak will be a lot higher this time, how much who knows. The old big three are in the HP wars again and we are the winners.

The more I see the new Mustang the more I'm starting to hate the new shape. Ford used too much japanese influence to redesign the mustang skin.

Car looks killer! I'd bet Ford is sick of getting dirt kicked in their face on the track and will beat the Z/28 with this one.

Nearly crashes...seems like nearly news.

But, I guess at least it shows they're pushing the cars.

Its none news as far as I'm concerned. We all know the Z/28 is at a level of handling capability that most of us could never push to its max....yet we all know (if you've read the Z/28 section) that it will still spin if something goes wrong.

Nobody yet knows what this car will be called, exactly what engine it has, or how much power it has.
