Boost gauge vacuum source.

I installed my boost gauge today and plan on tee'ing off the plastic vacuum line behind the TB on the drivers side. I read theres a line at the back of the intake manifold but I didnt want to dig for it. Anyone else tee'd off that port too? Thanks.

Someone with more knowledge will chime in, but I don't think your manifold will have that port. I believe that port back there was for the NPP exhaust. And if you didn't have that, it is blocked. The other port is the big one for the brake booster.

I used that and it works. Its behind the TB. Of course I'm seeing vaccum only until I am boosted.

No not behind the throttle body. At the back of the intake, where the brake booster connects as well. The NPP connects to the smaller port. The one behind the throttle body is just for vacuum as far as I know. That's what I hooked my air/oil separator too.

Maybe I'm wrong here but it should work the same way. Any port behind the TB will show vacuum and of course boost once its under force induction.

Makes sense to me. I am not 100% though. Hopefully someone else chimes in

Working good so far. Sorry for the huge pic. I need to install the 02 sensor now.
