Real stupid question on guage

I am wanting to put a vacuum/boost gauge on my car....
I am just unsure of what gauge to order the 20psi or the 30psi version.

My question is when under max boost (my car is set at 6 pounds of boost) does the vacuum/boost gauge read 6 or 20.7 (14.7 atm + 6)??? As in does it read absolute pressure or only pressure over atmospheric

Typically pressure over atmosphere. So if you are running 6psi I would run the 20psi version. Heck if you can find a 10psi gauge that would be even better.
