IMHO it would be completely useless to spend all on power and first day on the street blow the rear out...but you already know this...good luck...peace out...
I have had my agp kit on for a year and a half still stock clutch and rear end, no drag track visits though, but tons of 10 to 20 mph starts to 90 for tuning purposes, but I took steps to eliminate wheel hop, and on that note though i do plan on a triple clutch and a zl1 rear end in the future so I can turn up the boost and launch it like a mad man

Since you have a M/T car, you can make a lot of power super super easy with our turbo kit. No cam or headers needed. And once you are at that power level, that nullifies the advantage that 3.91's would give you. So stick with your stock gears too. Our base turbo twin kit would get you to 700whp on pump gas and 800whp on race gas without needing anything done to your engine. We have countless customers doing just that on stock LS3's. Give us a call and ask for Kevin if you want more info.

Wow I love this forum. That was more responses than I thought I would get. Thanks to everyone for all the advice! I'm gonna call Kevin and see if I can get the kit at a price that works for me. Shipping to hawaii can be really tough on the wallet..

You probably wont want the lower gear with a power adder. Get the power adder first and then see.

Could I get a pm price of the base kit shipped to 76120 when you get a chance. I have a 13 1le doesn't know if that makes any difference. 700hp with no cam is impressive as hell.

700hp is beyond easy. Add some octane (meth/e85) and 800-900rwhp is cake too.

So in a twin set up, are both turbos running at 8 psi each? I'm asking because everywhere I look it says my cubic inch engine needs about 15-16psi to reach 700hp. The AGP kit delivers that to the wheel in half?

There is only one boost measurement.

What PSI is needed for power depends on too many different things. Cam, exhaust flow, etc. You can make 700rwhp on 6psi or 20psi. Don't worry about PSi, it means nothing.

Well it does mean something, a stock LS3 isn't going to live long at 20psi of boost.

Not sure I saw it yet, but are u doing all the work?

If not, 7-8k isn't gonna go very far. If you are paying some for the install, tune, and dyno time if necessary, you'll be at 6-7k with the LSA setup.

My point is, everyone is recommending AGP, but if budget is a concern, you need to consider all costs. Don't forget upgraded injectors, fuel pump and FPCM. Some kits might come with options to add these components, but they add up.

My agp kit included a choice of fuel system options which were either a zl1 fuel pump or msd boost a pump, 850cc injectors, plugs, big or small intercooler windshield washer relocation bracket, two filters and a hp tuner in addition a catch can was included in my kit but i believe is extra now, even with addition things like boost controller im still under your budget, but the key is I did my own install, so the biggest thing is talk to the companies that you are considering, i was originally going go with a whipple 2.9 but it would of ended up costing me more than my tt set up

Sure it can. It could live at 30psi a long long life.
