******** Issue

Hey folks of the camaro5 forum, I have a question, Has anyone had any issue with recieving products from ******** or contacting them? I ordered the RCA plug & play for a 10" camaro SS factory amp on April 29th and haven't recieved it yet. I have left about 6 or 7 e-mails and numerous phone calls and messages leaving my number for a return call in a extremely polite manner. I'm in a tight position seeing that I'm military and will be PCS'ing from the U.S. on the 21st of this month to go overseas, so I'm running out of time. Is this normal? I'm not trying to bad mouth ********.

No this isnt normal. Steve is usually very good about getting items shipped out and such. I do know he has been working on his new vert (seeing what currently works and what may have to be recreated). Plus depending on where he is located in Indiana he may be getting hammered with the weather?

I got my harness and box in reasonable time... I was very happy with the service. I'm sorry for your delay, I've been there before. Id bet it'll be there soon.

Where did you have the harness shipped to? From my Naval days, was it an FPO-AP address? Sometimes stuff can get jacked up or delayed in delivery especially if it is coming on base.

I'm currently stationed at tinker afb but live in Oklahoma city... so its a OKC address...

Having read through that its hard to say. I can see how you would be frustrated especially with your pending deployment looming.

I do know Steve (********) is very busy with all he has going on. I tend to hit him up on various crazy things I think up regarding my audio projects and I know he is all over the place in design, building, marketing, managing, all the things to go along with running a small outstanding company. In order to provide a cost savings he sends items out postal mail which can sometimes need additional postage, this can be seen in the email where he says he got one back.

All that being said I think what happened here is a combination of bad luck. You being anxious about leaving, the product potentially getting hung up in shipping or even getting returned for not having enough shipping and then the legal comment. I can honestly see how that could rub me, if I was a busy small business owner, the wrong way.

This is just my take on things looking at your side and potentially looking at Steve's from the work I have done with him.

A potential fix may be for ******** to ship via UPS or Fedex exclusively, cost a bit more but will have guaranteed tracking.

I do think posting everything may have been not so cool without giving ******** a chance to respond, sort of like airing dirty laundry?

Either way I hope all gets worked out.

i ordered my stuff on may 10th and received my order on may 12th..great shipping for mine..but no instructions ..got them e-mailed after I sent a message..no ability to call and get someone at ********

you made a good point Moriartii i've decided to remove the e-mails, this purpose of this discussion isnt to marr or mess up steve at ********s image, but I just wanted to see other people's take on what was going on... Hopefully it will come in one of these days before I leave... cross your fingers for me...
