Hello All, i dont own a camaro as of yet, i hope to be ordering my new RS/2SS at the end of next month just in time to get it as spring comes round.this will be my first camaro as have been a mustang guy till now. i was introduced to camaro's by my older brother who upon coming home in 1967 from the army promptly went and bought the first rs/ss camaro in washington state for 1967 it was yellow with the black bumble bee stripe and hideaway headlights as well as the four speed, i was pretty young and thought OMG this is the greatest car id ever seen and when he took me for my first ride it in i was blown away...wow it was fun, him and my oldest brother would wrench on it all week and goto SIR on the weekends and race it was soooo awesome i learned a ton about cars as i got to hang around in the pits, and this was at a time when funny cars and jet cars were racing, and they would race till like 2AM...it was a great time to be a kid.

anyway im looking forward to getting my own camaro i already have some mods ill be doing to it. im getting it with most of the factory stuff installed but will be adding a K&N filter right away to go with the upgraded exhaust.

i also have a new hood picked out that should lighten up the car by a hundred pounds im sure. and it will look great as well as having a working hood scoop. anyway looking forward to reading more of the forum and hearing from others of like minds.

Welcome to the forum. I had at one 8 camaro's myself. Down to only 3 1997 30th, 2002 35th SS and 2010 SS early production car. There a blast to drive also. My 010 has a vortech SC long tube headers 3 inch exhaust all magna flow lowered 1 half upgraded to 21" wheels, Orange halo's in the head lights. 576 hp 510 torque.

anyone seen it upclose or maybe even have one, id like to know how u like it.

I checkout the hood, it looks really nice, I would like one of those but don't know how I would get the 45th stripes on it??? Carbon fiber would be much lighter than the factory hood. It would save a few pounds of weight.

welcome, we still drag race over at Pacific raceways, & we do events like car club challenge both over at PR & Bremerton raceways.

We also have serveral Camaro clubs in the area, PNWCC for one.

You might be able to just have them painted on if u couldnt get the decal, i check on that, and yes it will save alot of weight from what i have been reading is the biggest issue people are having besides having limited sight.

we have our meetings in Burien BuT we have members all over the place. our first meeting of the year is saturday

I hope to order my camaro at the end of next month (FEB.) and hoping to actually get it in march.dont know how long it will take to build, has anyone got the upgraded exhaust from the factory? If so do u like it and was it worth the money?
