Hey all, my new camaro is being worked on right now, my local dealer did a dealer trade for it. Couldnt find the color combo/extra's package i wanted and he did a search in a 800 mile area and finally find just one that fit pretty close. they will be adding a few items for me to make it mine, im pretty excited and should be getting it around the first of march!!!

In that 0 - 800 mile range , how far away is your new Camaro? Will they drive it or ship it to your dealer or will you go pick it up? I know I wouldn't want 500 miles on my new car.

When I was tracking down my 2012 a Phoenix, AZ dealer basically told me "Your car is not here yet, but we can drive a 2011 here 200 miles over night."

I told them, "That’s a $40k dollar car! I wan MAYBE five miles on it ten AT MOST!"

Needless to say I returned to my family dealership, got my ordered 2012 driven up to my duty station here in WA on GM's dime with 5 miles on the odometer. Not only that, but for all the hassle, my dealership paid for my plane tickets to and from Arizona. Best dealership ever.

Ill get some pics soon as i get her, and they will gtrailer it here, they havent told me where its coming from but told them i didnt want anyone to drive it. they did throw in the polished crome wheels for free!

I think i got a screamin deal! got my RS/2SS with upgraded exhaust, blade spoiler, body color engine panels sunroof, black stripes and the 20" polished chrome wheels for just over 38,000...what do you guys think?

That price sounds really good for a 2012 w/ extras.

But remember if you ever decide to go aftermarket on any of those add on's the only thing matters is what Ebay can sell it for. If you get them for "free", all the better. Wish I got free wheel upgrades, cuz when I sell them I can put more back into my F14's.

Wow! A picture in Washington with the sun out! I think that was the day when I was trying to tack down and test a gopro hd hero 2. An amazing day and I wanted some action shots!

i Get to pick up my new ride tomorrow...tuesday afternoon..

Im hoping the upgraded exhaust will have a deeper note...the kind that sets off alarms..

woooot...got my NEW RS/SS yesterday...its sooo awesome...

i do have the permagrin option too...

im now waiting for the performance exhaust and the dove tail spoiler to arrive so they can be installed as well as the engine covers.
