Supercharger

Anybody out there added a blower to their L99? If so, what did it cost, and how did it work out?
Thanks

This is how I'm looking at going through. They have a variety of application of factory supercharger power levels and cams to compliment forced induction.

Millers was one of the funniest movies I've seen in the last few years

Supercharger itself an easy $7k - $8k

Install + tune another $1k for sure.

You're looking at $8k at least installed.

For the money nowadays, I find them grossly overpriced.

Yes, Magnuson ... (had other things done to, but you just asked about the blower)... cost me about 8500 installed (including tune). And yes, definitely worth it if within your budget.

Best bang for you buck would be turbo. Spend less money, make more power.

Finished up the conversion mid october. I used mostly ctsv and zl1 parts. Its not cheap but the power is substantial. Turbo is cheaper and potentially makes more power but nothing has the look and of course the sound and feel of a blower at full whack. I added 100% meth injection for max timing. Its not for everyone but i like it. No dyno numbers but 2 passes at track got me 126.4 mph in the quarter on stock p zeros feathering and spinning alot of the way. I suspect with mickey thompson drag radials looking north of 130 in quarter so midish 10s possibly. U will need a really good tuner for both motor and transmission.
