Mouse eating my car!! Video update!!

UPDATE go to post #56

Below are the pictures. Car sitting in my garage for about a week. Took the car out, A/C smelled REALLY bad. Thinking, ok when I get home I'll pop the hood and maybe I have some leaves in my cowl area.

Well, both sides of the cowl, eaten away, rat poop etc. eating adhesives, cabin filter, etc!!

Ordered all the parts today, set traps EVERYWHERE, in the car, underhood, in the garage!!

-Bobby

So now I see that you have started your winter project.....a ratrod .....LOL

sorry to hear....traps and poison in the garage required...try dryer sheets in the car and around...also, try mothballs around the car....don't forget to place dryer sheets in the trunk and engine bay and interior......

I had a similar problem with an eclipse that I owned 15 years ago. I never confirmed if it was rats or squirrels but the mess they made was nothing compared to what my dog did while trying to get whatever it was

OMG! I am surprised they did that in just a week. You're making me nervous, I better go check my garage queen who sits for months!!

Hope you get it taken care of. They're so gross and hard to get rid of.

Is this a detached garage? I’ve never had a problem with mice in the garage under our house.

Now I’m paranoid too.

Yikes! only a week? I doubt that's from a mouse or even a family of them. Lots of serious damage. I am new to the forum, but not to nice cars. I just joined forum and this is the first post I saw. I stored my 2014 RS Camaro in heated storage for the winter. Loaded it up with rat poison, just in case.
Sorry to see this damage.

That's horrible! I agree with putting down traps and everything, but also we run one of those sound deterrents, and they seem to work. I haven't had any rodents since the one winter when they ate my injector wires.
