Smokey Mountains and Blue Ridge Parkway cruising.
My wife and I just got back from cruising the Blue Ridge Parkway and then through the Smokey mountains. I passed a silver 2010 Camaro on RT 411 in the Smokies and that was the only Camaro I saw the entire trip from Delaware, Ohio. The trip was awesome in our 2SS/RS LS3. The torque is so fun I never needed to downshift going through the mountains. We had our car to the top of Mt Mitchell North Carolina which is supposed to be the highest point east of the Mississippi so I have to assume our car has been has high as you can go east of the Mississippi. We managed a 1085 mile trip and when I got home I washed it thoroughly hoping I would not find any chips or scratches because I did hear a few rock pings in the wheel wells during the trip. I was so pleased that after going over it with a fine tooth comb I could not find a single scratch or chip. It was a great trip and now my car is no longer a virgin garage queen.
Below are some picks of our car and us on top of Grandfather Mountain North Carolina.

Hey Dude! What's the deal. You just took my trip in my car!!!! I have a 2SS/RS IOM White Rally Stripes being delivered hopefully tuesday. I have been planning my trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway for about 6 months. We are leaving the 3rd week of September. Really looking forward to it. Glad you had a good trip!

Glad you enjoyed the drive! The Blue Ridge Parkway is almost surreal up in the clouds, winding roads, like driving through a heavenly park!! I've taken the Jeep up there many times. Can only imagine how much fun it is to drive the SS
