Patience - How much do you have?
I’ve been reading the posts on this site for quite a while and needed to let you know – I made a mistake. I was fine in telling myself – the car gets here when it gets here. Then yesterday I went to my dealer (Kelly Chev. – Phoenixville, Pa) and (here’s my mistake) took out their 2LT RS for a test drive. The car is MORE than I imagined – and I can imagine a lot. Handles great and feels really solid. And in case you hadn’t noticed, is great to look at! My salesman (Jeff Hauber) and I went out for a drive. We received a lot of stares the whole time we were out.
Now my mistake has created a problem. I want the car NOW!! So tell me, how much patience do you have and has anyone else had the opportunity to make the same mistake that I did? My dealer by the way is NOT an idiot! Jeff calls me every week with an update on the status of my car (Ordered 2LT RS - CGM). Expected production date – Week of June 7-13. |

the test drive does make it harder...but it'll be nice once it gets here and it's worth the wait.

Gee, don't you wanna wait? I mean your order could happen someday...buying now for more money is just not what the 'pre-ordering program' is all about...look at all the benefits we got so far.

I would wait if the car you ordered is what you really want. I understand how driving one has really made being patient that much harder but IMO it would be worth it to wait unless of course you found the same car on a lot that you ordered for MSRP, then hey.....grab it!

Man, I know its tough. But you gotta wait it out. After finally seeing and sitting in the car last Wednesday I definitely understand how you feel. I want it now, but it will get here when it gets here. I keep telling myself that the longer it takes the more money gets set aside for down payment, lol.

I think were all sick of waiting, but there are somethings that are definitely worth the wait, such as the Camaro.

They're ramping up production so maybe it will take less than two months.

This is easy as hell for you guys. Try having to wait a year from now before you can even put in an order. xD

I am going to wait it out no matter how long it takes. The Camaro is woth the wait. It is just a lot harder to wait after actually driving one.

Waiting is what makes the Camaro just that more enjoyable whent it arrives.
It's like waiting for your first born child. The anticipation is incredible, but when the Camaro arrives, your life will be changed forever. You'll never be the same. My advice: wait like the rest of us. And you too will enjoy that magical day! |

Even though its other peoples decisions, it really bothers me when someone bails on an order, especially when they've wanted the car for so long.
